Great roads, fantastic views,
fabulous weather (all year ...!), good food,
beaches, mountains, quaint villages - that's what
you get, when you come
with Canary Moto Adventure, to the Canary Islands.
We supply the bikes (2008 BMW F650GS, F800GS and
R1200GS), knowledgeable
local english speaking guides and a backup van.
We'll take you on the best
mountain roads, the best beaches and the best local
restaurants.
You can either book the entire tour with us (maximum
7 riders plus pillion
passengers) or just simply rent the bikes for a
day's riding. Our tours are
very flexible, tell us how many days, what islands
you want to visit, how
many riders, type of accommodation and we'll do the
rest.
Check us out at www.cmabikes.com (and have a look at
the video.....!).

Good Afternoon,
The Spittal of Glenshee Hotel in the beautiful Scottish highlands would like to welcome all bike clubs to the area. The roads around Glenshee make ideal bike routes and the location, in the heart of Scotland, makes it an perfect base for touring the countryside.
The road up through Glenshee to Royal Deeside is the highest main road in Britain and was once one of the most notorious, with the feared Devil’s Elbow and its 1 in 3 gradient.
As a special introductory offer we are offering bike clubs rates from ONLY £9.95 per person per night. A full Scottish breakfast can be added for only £5 per person.
If you are interested in touring the heart of Scotland, please phone me now for more information on this great offer. These rates are subject to availability so call early to avoid disappointment.
With regards,
Dawn Tweddle

BONNYRIGG MOTORCYCLE CLUB
AGM meeting 9/01/12
Time : 20.30
A good turn out for our AGM and as always, a warm welcome was given to all attending.
Apologies for Laura who was unable to attend, wishing her a speedy recovery.
Reflection on the previous year, the clubs achievements, with some difficult decisions being made at the start of the year. This turned out to be one of the clubs best years apart from the weather.
Financial up-date on clubs funds are of now at £520.00.
Office bearers and committee standing down with a open invitation extended to all members wishing to stand for the committee / office bearers.
Election and voting of office bearers / committee are as following :
President Colin Shanks, Proposer Duncan Swanson, Seconder Kenny Rodger
.Secretary Jimmy Byrne, Proposer Tam Webster, Seconder Colin Shanks.
Treasurer Laura Mitchell, Proposer Steve Young, Seconder Shaz.
Committee Kenny Rodgers, Proposer Tam Houston, Seconder Nicky O’Conner.
Committee Denis Thomson, Proposer Nicky O’Conner, Seconder Shaz.
Committee Tam Houston, Proposer Tam Webster, Seconder Rab Mackenzie.
Committee Alistair Miller, Proposer Duncan Swanson, Seconder Stewart Pearson.
AOB
Robin was not happy with the manner in which the committee had been addressed in the past.
Sandy’s vision of a bike club with big burly men, bald heads and tattoos thankfully did not match the BMCC ? He also enquired if the club had a disciplinary procedure. The three basic rules that apply when joining the BMCC and must be adhered to, are as follows:
1. Physical attacks on any member (s) will result in your membership being withdrawn.
2. Using, distributing or dealing in drugs will result in your membership being withdrawn.
3. Any damages occurring during trips, that member (s) will pay the costs, not the organiser or BMCC.
A personal thank-you from Steve for the club for the work done in 2011.
Duncan thinking of club BBQ events securing dates regardless of the weather, Alistair volunteering to assist in possible venues.
Karting in February, Kenny to pursue costs, and his thoughts on a possible club Hogmanay party.
Members agreeing on BMF membership / affiliation for 2012. No increase in club memberships (£10.00 for year). Blood run in March. Glencoe for April. Duncan N/W 200 May. Kelso in July. Colin and Jane’s run to Oban in September and quiz nights to continue at social meetings.
A possible club raffle for a local hero / charity mentioned by Tam, Alistair offering to gather more information on this, Steve suggesting "Help For Heroes" as a possible idea.
Conclusion of AGM formally closed and a round of applause given to Colin.
Time : 21.30
