Another great turn out by the club for the blood run, seventeen bikes making it on the day, some members starting the day with a breakfast at Tesco, then after joining the main group at the Retreat for complimentary tea's and coffee in the conservatory, dry roads seventeen bikes revving ready to go we where on our way for the eighth annual blood run, on arrival Francis Steel securing safe parking for the bikes to the rear of the building.
At no surprise to some of us, staff at the centre where having some difficulty trying to extract blood from Duncan. Tam keeping our spirits high with his usual good sense of fun, and giving the staff a hard time for their over indulgence from the night before. Big Dave giving out metals of distinction, and giving members recognition in the shape of stickers, thanking them for not giving blood on the day.

Saltire Suzuki open day and still no rain, with a busy atmosphere choices had to be made? Soup, burgers, ribs, hot and cold drinks, well we did have to get  our blood sugar levels back up!

BMW Motorrad thirteen bikes making it to the finish of the blood run, and as always a warm welcome by the staff awaiting us, just in front of Tracy who had just been to the shops for biscuits, flapjacks jaffa cakes and snow balls for the blood run, just to top our blood levels again you understand. And as predicted the rain and the end of the blood run.
A big thank you to all who could make it on the day, and for promoting the club, giving a different perspective of motor cyclists to some of  the public, and of course giving life back.  Jimmy
